SimonsVoss - FORTLOX lever cylinder - Configurator

The SimonsVoss - FORTLOX lever cylinder is SimonsVoss’s first knobless and batteryless mechatronic locking cylinder. It is available in various designs for permanent outdoor use, resistant to rain, UV radiation, and temperature fluctuations. Additional drill protection safeguards the actuator electronics and the cylinder profile against external attacks. The FORTLOX Cylinder can be integrated into an existing SimonsVoss system.

The FORTLOX Cylinder is identical in design to conventional mechanical lock cylinders. This allows it to replace them easily and makes it suitable both for classic door applications and for use in cable distribution or server cabinets, as well as in mobile radio or EV charging stations.

Secure, robust & durable: In accordance with DIN EN 15684, the FORTLOX Cylinder achieves the highest certification in the required classes with regard to durability, fire/smoke resistance, environmental resistance, authorization security, system management, and attack resistance.

Weatherproof: In the standard version, the FORTLOX Cylinder complies with IP protection class 54 and can be used at extreme operating temperatures from -25 °C to +65 °C. Optionally, it is also available in a dust-tight and water-protected version (WP) with IP protection class 67. In addition, it can be ordered in the Extreme Protection (EP) version for protection against insects and foreign particles.

Reusable & freely programmable: FORTLOX Cylinder and Key are not produced for a specific system and can therefore be reused flexibly and reprogrammed at any time. Additional variants: LEVER CYLINDER (LE), PADLOCK (PL). Suitable for use in display cases, vending or ticket machines, etc.

Maintenance-free: The batteryless cylinder is powered via the key. No batteries need to be replaced on site. Normal cleaning in case of soiling is sufficient.

Suitable for fire doors and emergency exit doors: Approved for fire doors up to T90; fire/smoke protection doors in accordance with DIN EN 15684 class B. Suitable for use in emergency exit doors that comply with DIN EN 179/EN 1125.

Uncomplicated installation: Thanks to its design, the knobless FORTLOX Cylinder can replace conventional mechanical lock cylinders 1:1. With its modular cylinder design, it can be flexibly adapted to the respective installation situation.

Protected against damage: The knobless cylinder has no protrusion – a major advantage in situations where a knob could be damaged.
